Introduction

The 2:8 Association respects each individual's right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected on 2:8 Association's Web site.

Part I. Information Collection

2:8 Association collects information through our Web site at several points.

We collect contact information from each logged-in user, which each user divulges at the point of their account creation.

We may also collect contact information, which our users divulge about their members and other people, such as recruiting lists, membership lists, membership contact information, and donation records. The storage and retrieval of this information is a part of the service of 2:8 Association. The information is never sold or distributed to any third party. 2:8 Association does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information, including quantitative statistics on the usage of different areas of the Website, customer service issues, and our forums. We collect demographic data in order to better understand who our customers are, know which sections of our Website are most used, etc.

We collect this information through registration forms and automatic logging files. The registration forms are voluntarily filled out by the user. The automatic logging files are collected by our web server and only contain general demographic data. To receive our products and services, the information needed on our registration form is mandatory because it allows us to contact our individual users when needed. Other information we request is optional on the forms.

We employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user's computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable 2:8 Association to keep users logged in and deliver customized content to users. Our cookies are deleted from a user's computer when the browser window is closed. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.

Part II. Information Usage

The information collected by 2:8 Association will be used strictly for in-company usage. Group information provided by users is used by 2:8 Association to compile aggregate, quantitative usership information. 2:8 Association may contact individual group members from time to time for the purposes of audience research, promotions, and to send topic-based emails to them. Any communication from 2:8 Association to group members will always contain the opportunity to opt out of future communications. Group information is never sold or distributed to third parties except as needed by service partners when necessary for the fulfillment of their service (such as texting, for example). Logged-in users who provide information may receive email announcements or promotions related to 2:8 Association.

Registered users will receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications, but we highly suggest not doing this, since it's important for users to be in tune with what's going on with .

The information we collect will be used to create customer profiles based on browsing or purchasing history. We may supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources, such as credit history to authorize purchases.

We only share data with the following third parties: our text messaging partner (if client enrolls in text messaging service). These third parties will use the information as follows: to confirm that each cell phone owner has subscribed to receive the client's text messages. Users opt in to have their information shared with third parties, and users may also opt out (at the expense of not being able to use our text messaging service).

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

Part III. Access to Information

maintains the accuracy of our information by allowing each user to keep their own contact information up to date. Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find through our "Contact Support" form under the Help section or through our toll free phone number (877) 500-5880. Users may request that we delete their information from our database by using the "Contact Support" link in the Help menu. If the user's information is deleted, they will no longer be able to login to the system.

2:8 Association protects user information with the following security measures: advanced login security, firewalls, daily database backups, and Deluxe SSL encryption.
